I'm in the middle of sorting out the personal handicaps for next season, and one of the things this complicated calculation spits out as a by product is a way of identifying folk whose racing results have improved significantly from the previous season. 

So a pat on the back goes to the following:-

Kiyo Wong (Topper)

Clare James/Lucy Gibson (RS200)

Kevin Seebaluck (Laser)

Paul Playle (Solo)

James Curtis (various!)

all of whom, according to the statistics, were a great deal harder to beat in club racing last year than they were the year before. This only represents the people for whom I have a reasonably number of races in both seasons: there are others who also appear to have developed their skills, but for whom there isn't enough data for me to comfortably report here.
