COVID Guidance update 5th January 2021

  • club closed

    06/01/2021

    Dear Members

Following on from yesterday’s start of another National Lockdown, access to the water and the club's facilities are closed.  Only essential maintenance should be undertaken e.g. flushing water tanks in the clubhouse or tying down boats for the winter.

Today the RYA has provided its latest advice (see https://www.rya.org.uk/SiteCollectionDocuments/clubs/Covid%20FAQs%20in%20England%20from%205%20Jan%202021.pdf ).  We are awaiting clarification from the RYA on youth sailing, especially around the pathway to elite sailing.  However, until this is clarified the closure extends to all activities.

As per other communications we will be monitoring the advice from the RYA and should there be an update we will amend our instruction accordingly.

    Thank you for your cooperation.
