WORKING PARTY
SUNDAY 31st MARCH
That time of year is quickly approaching when we have our spring working party. For those new to the club the working party is a day when all members, old and new, come to the club and help with general maintenance of the clubhouse, facilities and club boats. Many members, especially those in the sailing schools, bring their families to help. If you're going to be in the sailing school it's not only a good opportunity to ensure the club Toppers, Oppies and Fevas are ready for the sailing school but it's also a great chance to understand how the boats are rigged and maintained.
Please come prepared to go on the water or come prepared for outdoor tasks: warm clothes, thick gloves, tools/cutters/spades/forks, protective clothing and eye protection. There are some club tools, but they are not great - please bring your own.
With a good turnout we can achieve lots of improvements and leave the clubhouse, facilities and grounds in a good state of repair for the summer months.
A full list of tasks will be available here near the time and on the day in the clubhouse.
As usual, there will be free food and a drink for those helping.
During lunch there will be the winter season prize giving including the RS200 winter open.
