    COMMODORES DAY
There is something for all ages.

Those on pirate ships must be frightening pirates and must have water pistols and have pirate cake for the Social Secretary. The Vice Commodore is offering a prize to the best dressed pirate

Non pirates (ie everyone else) please wear their most colourful Caribbean shirts and most enticing coconut bras for the barbecue. Bring your family and friends, also in their West Indian shirts. Flower garlands very much appreciated

We have a West Indian Steel band So practice your limbo dancing before hand. There is a prize for best limbo dancer. Joint hot favourites : Commodore and Vice Commodore

    BOOK TICKETS NOW!
Tickets are £10 each, which includes the racing, barbecue, dessert, and band. Children are free. So Ray and Rory, no excuse for not being there.
They can be purchaced by logging onto the membership website and going to the socials section,  or
Tickets can be purchased on the day from Eddie at the bar.

(please do book online so we can get an idea of numbers for the catering team)

Racing: Please form yourself into Teams of 3 boats, which can all be different in type and crew number.
    TEAM ENTRY FORM IS HERE
We are not talking Team Racing here; just aggregating the scores of the 3 Team boats. So start forming your teams now:

A few tips on forming teams. Handicap for the Team prizes will be Personal Handicap, so having Gareth in your team is not necessarily a good thing, On the other hand having the Social Secretary in your team would be enormously beneficial, as his Personal Handicap is so abysmal.

And if you want to avoid lengthy protest meetings make sure you avoid avoid having CJ and the Vice Commodore in your team, (3 protests against them in one day, can you believe it?)

The individual prizes will be on your normal PY handicap, (so we know whose going to win, don't we). I am offering a Social Secretary's prize to the member who luffs Gareth off the reservoir.

Ticket numbers are limited by the capacity of the clubhouse and the size of Stuarts barbecue, so get your tickets early.

Social Secretary ( Mike Jones) , by order of Commodore (Mike Storey) and Vice Commodore (Uta Griesenbach)
