Island Barn Reservoir SC sucessfully tried a new venture over the winter of 2009/10 by running a monthly Open Series for RS200s on the second Sunday of each month, starting November 8th - 5 events in all. This event iaddressed the age-old problem of one-designs wishing to support their club series but also race in larger numbers of same type on a regular basis.

Prizes were awarded for both Series and Day winners. Series Membership and individual Day Membership were available.

Given the success of the series it is planned to make this a regular 5 month long Winter Series held every Sunday to end of March. Island Barn is south-west of London near Hampton Court.
