Daily Hire
We have a selection of dinghies that can be hired on daily basis for some great prices. Sorry but we don't hire dinghies to non-members for organisational and financial reasons. Under-18 hirers get a £1 discount on Laser, Solo and Topper rates.

We have three RS200 available to hire for a season subject to availability and the terms beneath
General
Initially, boats must only be sailed at IBRSC, unless agreed by any two from the Flag Officers, Secretary, Treasure, Sailing Secretary or Sailing Secretary
Competence of all helms must be assessed by any two from the Flag Officers, Secretary, Treasure, Sailing Secretary, Sailing Secretary or Training Officers
Rental periods will be:
Early summer 4 months - £300
Late Summer 3 months - £225
Early winter 2 months - £150
Late Winter 3 months - £225

Hirers
Hirers must ensure that they and any other helm sailing the boat is a Club member
Hirers are responsible for ensuring that the competence of themselves or any other user of the boat during the period of hire is assessed as above.
Hirers are responsible for organising the maintenance of boats during the hire period (with costs reclaimable from the Club)
Hirers must pay the excess of any insurance claim
Hirers must commit to sailing the boat at IBRSC a minimum of twice a month during the period of hire
Club
The Club will keep the boats insured at all times
The Club will provide a convenient berthing place
The Club will consider any request to purchase a boat during or after the hire period. Wherever possible, a potential price will be agreed at the beginning of the hire period.
